Charlotte tried to tell me a story today. I couldn't quite make sense of it, though the intonation was there, so I guessed what she was trying to say. This is the condensed version without all the wrong guesses.

C: "Once time walrus daw."

M: "Once upon a time a walrus draw?"

C: "Yeah!"

M: "What did he draw?"

C: "Chah-rt."

M: "Ooh, he drew a picture of you! That was nice."

C: "Thank you."

M: "So you told him thank you. How polite. How did you meet this walrus?"

C: "Nan-nie"

M: "Oh, Andy introduced you. I see."
