Today Adam has been working hard all day in 100 degree heat repairing a weak spot in our front porch. Family friend Pete (or as Charlotte called him, "Eep") lent a hand, tools and expertise.
Charlotte and I spent a good portion of the afternoon outdoors too.
She showed me her new trick of laying across the swing on her stomach and kicking off the ground with her feet. I can't believe how long her legs are getting! "Whee!" she said every time she pushed off.
Then she cooled off playing with her water table. She stripped down naked and climbed right in and sat in it as though it were an elevated wading pool. I dipped my toes in to cool off too, although her method was probably more effective!
