Napkin Sketch

On Saturday Shelly invited me to attend a women's breakfast with her. The owner of the salon where she works had purchased 3 tables and asked Shelly to use her amazing interior design skills to create one of the tableauxs. Shelly set each place with her beautiful rose patterned china on gold chargers and created a centerpiece of pink-rimmed white carnations and votives floating in a wide vase. While we listened to the speaker, I started sketching out a section of the rose design from the plate on my napkin. I'm rather happy with the results:
