To help ease the transition to preschool, Charlotte and I worked together to make these routine and chore charts. We brainstormed ideas together and she suggested ideas for the pictures to help her be able to "read" the charts by herself.
We've been using them for a few days now. Charlotte has enjoyed reading them and determine the next step for our day.
I also made a weekly chart that shows the different activities for each day. Monday, Tuesday and Friday have the logo of her preschool, and Thursday has the MOPS logo. Each day also has a picture related to a room that we will focus on cleaning together that day beyond our usual efforts to keep things tidy:
- Monday = Living Room
- Tuesday = Bedrooms
- Wednesday = Kitchen
- Thursday = Bathrooms
- Friday = Computer Room
- Saturday = Laundry Room
